We pride ourselves on being green! We recycle all our used oils & antifreeze, used oil filters, all used metal parts, batteries & the paper, plastic & cardboard as well. We are part of the Tire Stewardship Program, which recycles used tires.

Not all automotive repair shops are created equal. Did you know that, in B.C., anyone can open an automotive repair shop & not be a licensed technician? Always look for the certification of the technician working on your vehicle. There are two licensed technicians at Andre's, with over 37 years combined experience.

How do we know what to charge per job? There are industry-standard software programs available. All well-run shops will have either Mitchell or All Data software to be able to quote & charge for the type of job, based on the year, make & model of your vehicle. We have both systems!

Some shops will use the cheaper parts that experience has taught us are substandard. Be careful when you pay for a cheap oil change, as you are probably getting poor quality oil and a cheap filter. It is not worth the risk. The whole reason for having your oil changed on a regular basis is to save your engine, and all the wearing parts that go along with it, from premature wear and tear. Next to your home, your vehicle is probably your biggest investment. And your engine is one of the most expensive items to repair on your vehicle. Protect it with frequent oil changes, done every 5,000 K or 3 months. The reason for the three month rule is, just because you may not put the mileage on your vehicle, oil still breaks down over time & collects moisture.

Maintenance is the key to saving money with car repairs. By having regular scheduled tune ups, oil changes, cooling system flushes & transmission services, you will ensure trouble-free driving & eliminate the hassle & expense of vehicle break-downs.
